Okay I can't complain anymore. Back when the morning show on KJ103 was called the TJ & Tooker show, I actually met Tooker when he ran threw our high school. Whoo hoo! Today at the volunteer fair at UCO, I saw this guy pull and carry something and place it on the grass. He looked famaliar. I had been to KJ103's website and had seen the morning show dj's pictures. I hollered at TJ and he came to my booth. I told him who I was and later on I took some stuff that was for the organization. I had several students stop at the booth and some took some surveys. Which speaking of which I am going to do a report over today and add in the survey results and send them to some of my state and congressional contacts.
Then I stopped by Luther schools to say hi to an aunt that works there. Then I went to say hi to a childhood friend whom I grew up with in dance. Angela and I got to talking at my car because I had told her I had some things she could hand out to her students that were for TBI Raiders. She said she wanted me to come speak sometime towards the end of September. I told her I would get a hold of some of my state contacts to see if they could come or send someone who represented them to the school the day I spoke.
But overall today rocked because I got to meet TJ. Yeah yeah I know it's no longer the TJ & Tooker show, but now I can finally say I've met both of them! Yippee!!!
Saturday, August 18, 2007, 06:30 PM CST [TBI Raiders]
I'm pumped for this next Tuesday! That's when I will go to the UCO to hold a booth for TBI Raiders from 10am to 2pm. Set up is at 9am. The only thing I have left to do is make copies of the registration forms, brochure, and something else for the organization. I'm really hoping a lot of students sign up. Plus I'm happy so happy about the fact I'm perfectly fine with driving myself there. I'm pumped for tomorrow also. Two friends of mine have been inviting me every now and then to their church. Well I'm going to go there tomorrow. Bonus?! They go to church in Chandler! Sorry but I miss being in Chandler. I grew so used to being over there often. Well I need to go exercise since my muscle spasms are getting out of control....well not really but I've been having more than usual today.

I'm busy getting ready for the things I'm going to be attending this month. I attended the Lincoln County democrats meeting in Meeker this past Thursday and it went real well. Traumatic Brain Injury was brought up when Rep. Morgan spoke and he mentioned the things the democratic party were going to do. Before he got up the county commissioner got up to speak then cut his speaking time short and asked me to stand and speak about what I do because he felt that what I do is important. So I got up to speak, gave some facts on Traumatic Brain Injury, and told a little something on the organization. I also made some great new contacts at the meeting. There was a man taking photos and I told him I had forgotten my digital camera. So he told me to email him and he would send me the photos from that night.
I get the newsletters from Senator Coburn in my email and in a recent email discovered he was going to be in Chandler for something. So I will be attending that in a week. Then exactly a week later I will be at UCO in Edmond for the TBI Raiders booth. Yesterday I got the two white poster boards I had and wrote some stuff on them for. One was for TBI Raiders and the other was for Survived to Vote. I painted one yesterday and am going to paint the other one sometime today. I've been working this morning on the newsletter for TBI Raiders. I would like to have it completed by the day I go to UCO which is on the 21st. Well I need to get back to working on the newsletter. I am also working on something to put on my website where people can send me IM's on my AOL messenger without needing to know my screen name.

I'm really excited about next Monday. I'm going to be going to the meeting for the Lincoln County Republicans to speak about Traumatic Brain Injury and TBI Raiders and everything that is part of TBI Raiders. I've been fine tuning what I plan on saying. I'll have 15 minutes max to speak. I'm also going to have handouts as well as items to lay out for people to look at. I made a special newsletter for the event that has information about the organization in it. I made copies and I hope that I made enough for everyone that is going to be present that day. I found a name tag that I had when I went to Washington Dc in '04. I'm going to take the name card out of there and put in a new one for next week's event. I'm taking my digital camera with me so I can get some pictures of that night to post up on the yahoo 360 page for TBI Raiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once I start getting some dates lined up and scheduled for me to speak to groups I'm going to start posting those on one or all of the websites for TBI Raiders.
