Okay so I've pretty much have been in a foul mood these last couple of days. I'm using this weekend to relax and completely chill out. I NEED it!!! LOL I have order some more things off of http://www.vistaprint.com for TBI Raiders. I have ordered the following -

I went by the Lincoln County News office for my interview over TBI Raiders.  I thought it went really well.  The article is going to be in next week's paper.  The lady who interviewed me was real nice.  I took some handouts with me so she could look at them.  She made a copy of the print outs of the powerpoints I had taken with me.  She said it would be sometime in the afternoon before the next newspaper came out next Wednesday.  The lady said she would come to the last part of the presentation I was going to give next week.  I really hope this goes well!!!!!!!!

At the beginning of this week I went to a high school about speaking to juniors and seniors about TBI Raiders.  I talked with the counselour and told her the purpose of the organization and something we hope to do this summer.  She got excited and got me penciled in that day to speak with them next month!  I'll be speaking to them in the morning like at 9:25.  I've either emailed or called the people I've wanted to come that day and speak some as well and show some kind of support for TBI Raiders.  I don't have any for sures just yet.  I stopped by the office for the Lincoln County Newspaper and there may be someone there, to do a story, for the newspaper.  Then I decided to play stupid and email someone who worked for one of the news stations.  I told them about TBI Raiders and some things the organization is hoping and planning on doing.  LOL I seriously doubt I'll hear back just because of something someone at Channel 5 told me when I called them about something.  That guy's remark was, "Sorry but we have more important stories to cover."  Sorry but I'm still fuming over that and that is something I will not easily forget.  I would ask some radio dj's but I don't know if I would get the same reaction I get from the TV news people.  But I am really needing to gain volunteers because the few volunteers, that I have now, and I have talked about putting on a day camp later this summer for students who have sustained a TBI here in central Oklahoma.  I emailed two people for tips for the camp - one works for the Tennessee Traumatic Brain Injury Program.
